Portuguese Chocolate cake
250g mascarpone cheese
200g of Nestlé dark chocolate
1 tablespoon of rum
200 g of fine cane sugar
70g unsalted butter
100g of flour
1 sachet of baking powder
Put the chopped chocolate and butter in a bowl and melt in the microwave or in a bain-marie in a saucepan and set aside while we prepare the rest of the recipe.
In another bowl we mix the eggs and the cane sugar and the mascarpone cheese and beat.
Add the chocolate, the tablespoon of rum (optional) and the flour mixed with the yeast.
Mix all the ingredients well and put in the container where we are going to bake it, spread it with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs (it can be flour).
Bake at 180º for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
